A partition is an isolated subdivision of mass storage or memory, which can lighten the burden of internal storage on the device. Thus, if your Android device has not enough internal storage, you can partition the SD card to increase the internal memory. Fortunately, this post will contain a once-for-all method that allows you to partition the SD card easily. Read on and find more exciting details.

I highly recommend using a professional SD card partition tool to make the SD card partition process easier. EaseUS Partition Master can help you partition the SD card simply and efficiently to release the internal storage of your old Android device, which can speed up the Android device.

Learn the tutorial steps and partition your SD card as follows:

Notification:

1. Please back up your SD card if you want to restore it later.

2. You need a FAT32 partition to increase the Android device's internal storage, while an EXT partition is used to store installed applications. In a word, you'd better create two partitions: a FAT32 partition and an EXT partition.

Step 1. Insert the target SD card into a card reader and connect it to the computer. Launch EaseUS Partition Master and right-click on the unallocated space to select "Create."

Step 2. Adjust the partition size, file system (FAT32 and EXT), etc. Click "OK" to execute.

Step 3. Click the "Execute 1 Task" and "Apply" to create partitions.
