You can downgrade from Windows 11 to Windows 10. But it needs to fulfill some requirements:

  • You can only downgrade from Windows 11 to Windows 10 within 10 days of your upgrade.
  • Previous Windows version files, especially the Windows.old folder and other required files should be present on your system

Before starting downgrading to Windows 10, it is necessary to back up your computer to avoid any data loss. At that time, you can use a professional backup software - EaseUS Todo Backup to create backups. It allows you to back up files, disks, partitions, and systems, and even supports cloud backup.

Once backup your important data, you can follow the below steps to downgrade to Windows 10:

  • Right-click on the Windows icon and select Settings > Update & Security > System > Recovery.
  • Click Go back to the previous version of Windows 10, and check off one or more reasons for your uninstall when prompted.
  • Click No, thanks when asked to check for updates instead of rolling back.
  • Then, click Next > Next > Go back to the earlier build. Once done, the system will restart and go through a restoration process that will take a few minutes. When all is complete, you are back on Windows 10.
