As far as I know, no built-in Windows tool can back up MBR files. Given that, the easiest way is to use a third-party backup software like EaseUS Todo Backup. Just download it and follow the below steps:

  • Launch this software, and click Select backup contents to start your backup.
  • Select the File option from the four data backup categories. Next, expand the directory on the left to select the MBR file you want to back up.
  • Next, follow the on-screen instruction to choose the destination where you want to save your backup.
  • When you are ready, click backup Now to start backing up MBR.

As you can see above, creating a backup for the MBR on your Windows with EaseUS Todo Backup is very easy. However, it can do more than that. Apart from the files, this software also supports backing up disks, partitions, systems, and even the cloud.

Once you have created your backups, you can save them to the cloud for free. This program offers each user 250GB of free cloud storage to access their backups without the time and space limit!
