How to recover deleted files using Restore Previous Versions feature? When you delete files and empty the Recycle Bin by mistake, you can access the 'Restore Previous Versions' in 'System Restore Explorer'.

Follow the steps to restore an older version of files:

Step 1. Right-click the document you want to restore and select 'Restore Previous Versions' in the menu.

Step 2. Open 'Shadow Copy' backups in the 'My Documents Properties' list. Note that your folder versions are regarded as restore points by date.

Step 3. Double-click the file on its date and time to view its contents in the 'Date Modifies' window.

Step 4. Double click to open the file saved in a restore point and click 'Restore'.

Note that if you select the date and time for a restore point and click 'Restore', the entire backup contents are restored, and the older version will replace other new files.

Suppose you don't want to restore all the files in the restore point. In that case, it's suggested that you recover the deleted files using data recovery software, such as EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard, which supports data recovery of various file types under different conditions.

Follow the steps to recover deleted files after emptying Recycle Bin:
