Why Do I Have Only One Drive on My New Laptop?
I recently bought a new laptop. I also have an old laptop. The new laptop only has this drive: Local Disc (C) While my old laptop has three drives. Why do I only have one drive on my new laptop? And what does each Drive use for? I don't know what any of the drives are. What is the function of each drive?

According to your description, the local drive C is a partition on your system disk. Partition means a logical division of a hard disk, a separate unit for operating and file systems. A new laptop usually comes with one partition(the system partition: the local C drive). You can partition your hard drive as you wish:
